Safety at sea is our No. 1 priority. Weather on Sørøya can be quite rough and rapidly changing. That is why it is so important that our guests follow the safety rules.
We want you to have a safe stay at our camp! Please follow these rules and never take unnecessary risk.
The driver of a recreational boat of over 8 metres in length or with an engine with a greater effect than 25 HP needs a Norwegian Boating Certificate or a valid boating license issued in another country. This rule applies to all persons born on or after 1 January 1980 according to the Regulation on requirement for minimum age and a boating license for drivers of recreational craft dated 3 March 2009.
We want you to have a good fishing holiday in Norway! The coastal fish stocks in Norway are under pressure and we need to increase our efforts to ensure that future generations will also be able to enjoy fishing as a sport or recreation in Norway. Fish in the sea are free for all, but we have a goal to safeguard fish stocks for the future. You are therefore very welcome to fish for free in Norwegian sea waters, provided that you follow a set of simple rules.
