USE OF WEBSITE

This website is owned and managed by Hasvik Hotel AS and by using it, you accept the terms and conditions which apply to all use of the website. We have the right to change and alter the contents of the website at any time.

All content published on this website belongs to Hasvik Hotel AS and is protected by copyright and the applicable legislation. If you want to use any content published on this website, you must receive permission from us in writing.

Hasvik Hotel AS shall not be liable for any losses which may arise directly or indirectly from any use of this website or any content published on this website.

RESERVATIONS

Reservation, once it has been confirmed and we have sent a booking reference number, is binding for both parties. In order to book with us, you must be at least 18 years old.

 

HOTEL ROOMS – RATES

STANDARD RATE:

our standard price, includes VAT, WiFi and breakfast. Reservation can be cancelled or changed for free until 15:00 local time on the day prior to arrival. If you do not show up and you have not cancelled the booking in advance, or if you cancel after 15:00 local time on the day prior to arrival, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation.

NET RATE:

discounted rate, includes VAT, WiFi and breakfast. Reservations are non-refundable and cannot be changed or cancelled. Credit card will be charged when the reservation is confirmed. This rate is only available for booking online.

FLEX RATE:

flexible rate, includes VAT, WiFi and breakfast. Reservation can be cancelled or changed for free until 15:00 local time on arrival day. If you do not show up and you have not cancelled the booking in advance, or if you cancel after 15:00 local time on arrival day, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation.

 

FISHING PACKAGES

A 25 % deposit of the total amount of the reservation is to be paid within 2 weeks after the reservation is made. The remaining amount shall be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. If the reservation is made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival, the full amount shall be paid when the invoice is received. A bank fee of NOK 100 may be added to the total amount of the reservation.

If payment is not made in due time, the reservation will be cancelled.

Provided that the cancellation is made no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival but still within 10 days after the reservation was made, we may cancel the reservation free of charge. If the cancellation is made later than 10 days after the reservation was made, we may keep the deposit of 25% provided there is more than 8 weeks before the arrival date. All cancellations made less than 8 weeks before arrival require full payment.

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Provided there are at least 8 weeks before arrival, a change in the reservation may be requested. Changes shall not result in a lower price of the reservation. We may collect a fee of NOK 500 for any changes.

Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS may cancel a booking with no liability, provided it can be justified that the trip cannot be made due to circumstances that were out of Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS control, and thus, could not have been taken into account at the time of the reservation, and which neither Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS nor any of the responsible parties could have avoided or prevented. Such force majeure circumstances could be war or actions of war, natural disasters, dangerous infectious diseases or other events of equivalent dimensions.

If a tour is cancelled before its start at Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS due to force majeure circumstances out of Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS control, the latter may refund all related payments made by the guest. If Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS is able to offer an alternative tour, the guest is entitled to accept it. According to the conditions mentioned in the first paragraph, Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS has no liability if the tour is faulty due to force majeure circumstances occurring after the tour has started. If either Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS or the guest aborts the tour due to such conditions, thus shortening the stay, the guest is still entitled to the proportional discount. Big Fish Adventure / Hasvik Hotel AS is obliged to, as far as possible, eliminate any possible risk or inconvenience for the guest.

 

LIABILITIES OF THE GUEST

The guest is financially liable for any damage to property, e.g. the rented premises including equipment and furniture, boats, boat engines, tools, equipment etc. and has an equal responsibility for any damage caused by other persons in the same reservation, or to whom the guest has given access to the accommodation or the boat.

 

COMPLAINTS

Hasvik Hotel AS should immediately be informed of a complaint if standards are not satisfactory. If the case cannot be resolved immediately, a written complaint must be sent to Hasvik Hotel AS within 7 days after the ended contract period.
